How to accessorize with scarf's

No accessory is as multipurpose as the scarf. There are dozens of ways to tie them that can make you go from office like to a funky fun-house. Scarves are a combination of form and function, and finding one that works for you needs a bit of forethought.
Get your notebooks out and note down, with scarves, it's all about applying the rules of scale. Ensure that your scarf is not too bulky or heavy for your frame. Scarves can also be worn differently in accordance to the seasons. For summer and monsoon, opt for scarves that are lighter in fabrication (rather than heavy or bulky knits, fine knits and wovens). Lightweight scarves that offer less protection than cashmere against the elements are great scarves to have. They're the perfect scarves that go with blazers in chilly monsoon days; a great cotton scarf is indispensable as the monsoon turns to autumn.
For petite people, selecting a scarf is important. A bulky and heavy scarf can drag the onlooker's eye downwards and you appear shorter. Loop the scarf around a couple of times if it's on the longer side. However, if one doesn't want to look shorten their neck or appear heavier, try looping loosely rather than tightly round your neck, or even knotting your scarf lower. The best option for our petites remains is to select a scarf that isn't too long to drag your body down.
If you want to add vitality to your outfit, add a cotton scarf with a subtle check to your everyday wear. Tie it in a French knot around your neck, and you'll appear much sharper than before. For weather that isn't warm enough or cold enough, the silk scarf still has its place and purpose. Black and white silk scarves add smooth touches of class to any outfit.
Ladies, throw on black jeans, a white tee and a colourful scarf and enjoy the world eye your fashionista self!
