A 4-sided seat frame with helical and sinuous springs is also present, which helps absorb stress. Contour cut polyurethane is used as the cushion. Polyurethane is both resilient and long-lasting. Blown fibre padding is provided for extra comfort over the back. A twist-and-fatigue-resistant solid steel drive shaft is used in the footrest.
